A proud Louisiana native, Dr. Jake Cavanaugh earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from Lamar University in 2012. Shortly after graduation, he launched his first practice in Sulphur, bringing compassionate, high-quality hearing care to his community. Driven by a commitment to accessibility, Dr. Cavanaugh expanded his practice in 2014, opening a second location in Lutcher to serve patients in St. James Parish. In August 2015, he returned to his roots, offering care one day a week in his hometown of Leesville to ensure patients in that area have access to the expert services they deserve.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Cavanaugh is deeply involved in his community. An active member of his local Rotary Club and church, he exemplifies his dedication to giving back. As a passionate LSU sports enthusiast, he proudly supports his Tigers.

Dr. Cavanaugh and his wife, Dr. Lacey Cavanaugh, share a fulfilling life with their two daughters, Lyla and Jordyn. When he’s not serving his patients, Dr. Cavanaugh enjoys exploring new destinations, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending quality time with his family. His love for Louisiana and its people shines through in every aspect of his life and work.
